And when it comes to kissing, budgies usually like being kissed on their head. The more you spend time with your bird, the better you get to know it. As I mentioned earlier, it is simply not possible to generalize the behavior of all budgies. You could end up picking a rebellious male, or, as opposed to the general notion, a good- natured sweet female. While some budgies pick up small and simple words, others can even repeat a sentence or more. Males are known to be able to make a wider range of sounds. Therefore, that makes it more likely for them to learn to say a few words or imitate human speech, than their female counterparts. Sometimes, you could pick up a male budgie with aspirations of training him to speak. However, he may not even learn to say a few words, let alone speak complete sentences.
